Stephen Kiprotich finished in second position at the just concluded German Hamburg Marathon that took place yesterday Sunday 23rd April 2017.
Kiprotich was in the leading group for the first 15kms and then resurfaced to emerge 2nd after the 32nd KM. He exchanged lead with Kenya’s Tesgaye after the 35km mark but got tired and fell off and was left to fight for position 2 after the 41st kilometer mark.
This is his best time ever recorded in his race carrier as he looks to improve in next World Championships in August.
