The Director General of the Ethiopian Federal Prisons, Mr Jemal Kabaso led a five man delegation on a bench mark of the Uganda Prisons Services from the 5th - 11th May, 2019.

The areas bench marked on were;

i. Training school programmes and curriculum development.

ii. Rehabilitation programmes and Paralegal services.

iii. Pre-sentencing procedures, Remission, Prisoner Classification and Stage system and Prisons Admission Boards.

The delegates visited U.G Prison Kitalya Mini- maximum , U.G Prison Upper Maximum ,U.G Prison Luzira Women, Prisons Academy and Training School,U.G Prison Farm Lugore and U.G Prison Masindi.
