OFFICE OF AUDITOR GENERAL’S HEADCOUNT AND VALIDATION EXERCISE KICKS OFF AT THE UGANDA PRISONS SERVICE HEADQUARTERS.

The Office of the Auditor General kicked off the head count and validation exercise of the Uganda Prisons Service on the 22nd May 2023.

 

The Deputy Commissioner General of Prisons, Samuel Akena launched the exercise at the Prisons Headquarters with members of Prisons Top management and Heads of Departments.

  

During the launch,DCGP Samuel Akena urged all staff of the Uganda Prisons Service  to comply with the Government program special audit, head count  and validation exercise across all prisons units.

The exercise will cover the  the 269 stations, 55 prison Districts and 19 Regional Prisons Commands. He promised full support to the validation teams.

 

All staff of the Uganda Prisons Service are required to have in possession the following documents for the physical validation exercise:

1.   Original National Identity Card

2.   Original Work Identity Card (P.F 17A)

3.   Initial Appointment letters and posting instructions.

4.   Letters of Promotion

5.   Changes of Names Documents (if possible)
