The Uganda Prisons Band completed a 4 month training programme of UPDF officers on elementary Jazz Band music which was held at the Prisons Academy & Training School in Luzira.

The Public relations officer, Assistant Commissioner of Prisons Frank Baine, Lt. Colonel Mujuzi, Director Prisons Band, Principal Officer I Nyeko David and OC SSU, Assistant Superintendent of Prisons Kwihangan Jackson presided over the ceremony.
