The Minister of Internal Affairs, (Rtd)Maj. General Kahinda Otafire paid a visit to the Prisons Headquarters with his team which consisted of the State Minister of Internal Affairs, General David Muhoozi, Permanent secretary, Lt. General Joseph Musanyufu, Director Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration, Maj. General Apollo Gowa Kasiita.

The Uganda Prisons Service joined other state agencies in welcoming the new ministers of Internal Affairs on the 23rd June 2021 during a scientific handover/takeover ceremony held at the Ministry headquarters.
