The Commissioner General of Prisons, Dr. J.O.R Johnson Byabashaija, was recently honored by the Rotary Club of Kajjansi with the prestigious Major Donors Pin (MDP) at Uganda Prisons Headquarters on January 3, 2024. This recognition reflects his dedication to community service and collaboration.

1. Mr. Patrick William Awany, SSP, DPC Soroti is appointed Regional Prisons Commander Mid Central Region. He takes over from Mr. Patrick Anthony Zikanga, SSP, who proceeds on accumulated leave pending retirement.
2. Mr. Sam Okiria Ekalamu, SP, from Course is appointed DPC Bushenyi.
